Measuring principle:
Ferric ions in the water sample are reduced to ferrous ions by hydroxylamine hydrochloride, and the ferrous ions reacts with 1,10-Phenanthroline and produces a colored complex in the presence of buffer solution; the analyzer detects this color change and converts it into and outputs the total iron. The colored complex produced amounts to the quantity of iron.
